How to Install jirc software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

jirc software package provides an IRC to Jabber bridge bot, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install jirc

jirc is installed in your system.

Make ensure the jirc package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jirc *

You will get with jirc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
